I was incredibly thankful to host segments for ABC's On the Red Carpet at the Oscars show - both on-air and (for the first time) in virtual reality. Being on a team that values entertainment and technology inspires me to experiment with fun/funky modes of storytelling.
On TV: On the broadcast, I took viewers on a tour of the official Oscars green room - which was mega-plush and sponsored by Rolex. Each inch of the space was crafted to make guests feel comfortable and relaxed, a haven away from the main theatre. It worked. I wanted to move in.
Virtual Reality: Additionally, I hosted the virtual reality component of the show. With the STRIVR Labs team, using a 360 degree camera, we filmed segments on the carpet, on top of Jimmy Kimmel's talk show building, and inside the Governors Ball preview event. Through our interactive video, viewers explored exclusive spaces with us from every angle. I'm itching to work on more projects in the VR realm again!
